Her body is cloth with compo hands. Baby wears panties, a short slip with lace edging, long slip with pintucks and lace and gorgeous long gown and cap. Her Scottish folk costume is hand tailored of fine fabrics and features custom-loomed tartan inspired by an authentic pattern. The Scottish terrier is a separate work of art, crafted of hand porcelain, which came with Heather. COA included.

Anne of Green Gables by Susan Dunham

Gorgeous 20" Anne was designed and made by Susan Dunham in 1994. Anne has porcelain head, lower arms and legs with a cloth body. Her face is daintily painted and she has gorgeous green-grey glass eyes. Hard to see in the photographs but there is a sprinkle of freckles across the bridge of her nose and cheeks.
Anne has carrot red hair pulled up in pigtails. I've been tempted to change her hair style to braids, like the Anne in the novel, but I am not talented with wigs so will leave that to a new owner.
Anne wears a white dress with flowered pinafore and carries her carpet bag. Her original shoes are in the carpet bag - a pair of black French style pumps. I thought the tall black boots looked more appropriate.
Doll was purchased direct from artist. COA included in her carpetbag. Anne is #4 in an edition of 50. I've never seen another in a shop or on the secondary market. Original retail $495.00.
