Lester the Jester by Ruth Anne's Old Time Teds

Sweet Lester was created by Ruth Anne Mauer. I don't think Ruth Anne is making bears any longer so Lester is a real treasure as well as a bit of teddy history. He was purchased direct from the artist in 2000 and Lester has decided he would like to see more of the world at this time.
Lester measures 15" tall and is made from mohair with wool felt paw pads. he is poly-pellet stuffed and looks soulfully at you from black glass eyes. Lester is wearing an artist made velvet & tapestry jester hat and neck ruff.

HM Bears, Great Britain - Rachel

Rachel is a wonderful 18" bear whose tag states she is part of the "My Old Bear Replica Collection 1999." Her paper hang tag is both printed and hand signed by the artists Iris & Ches Chesney. Rachel is made from sparse mohair with wool felt pads which have love and age worn "holes" which are backed by brown felt. She wears a white flannel nappie with crocheted (tatted?) trim and vintage (antique?) long half slip and silk gown. She has glass eyes and is firmly stuffed. Rachel has a LOUD growler which she loves to use with every tip and tilt!
Rachel is a wonderful replica of an antique bear who would look adorning any piece of furniture.

HM Bears, Great Britain

This little bear needs a name and a new hug! I've called him "Tuck" (as in Friar Tuck), but while he has a laminated HM Bears hang tag, it does not give him a name but IDs him as a classic teddy made by Iris and Ches Chesney.
Tuck stands 13" tall, though he prefers to sit.  He is made from mohair with linen paw pads and is firmly stuffed. He has shiny black glass eyes and an oh so sweet expression.
