TBAI 2006's theme is Salute to Sleuths Mystery Weekend.
My gallery piece represents a scene in the novel, The Historian.
Helen Rossi and Paul are seen in a library setting searching for clues
to the location of Vlad Dracula's burial site. Both Helen and Paul
measure 12" tall and are made from German mohair. Paul is made to be
free standing. Helen has an armature in her legs allowing her to sit in
the chair. Vlad Dracula's portrait is hung on the "wall," of the libray,
where black curtains may be drawn to hide his penetrating gaze.
