Yadkin Valley Telecom, through AT&T now offers TeleNav, the world's
first GPS navigation service that delivers audible and visual turn-by-turn
driving directions right to your wireless handset or device.
TeleNav GPS Navigator is a location-based service (LBS) for AT&T
wireless devices. Users can locate and receive directions to points
of interest, view maps of local areas, locate local businesses, get
traffic information and receive both audible and visual driving directions.
TeleNav mapping data covers the entire United States, except for Alaska.
Receive turn-by-turn driving directions from select devices with TeleNav
GPS Navigator. When using an approved handset or device that is
non-GPS equipped, an external Bluetooth GPS receiver is necessary for
TeleNav to work. This is available at our retail locations. This
receiver sits on the dashboard, receives GPS coordinate information
and passes it via Bluetooth to the device. Ask us about the AT&T
Tilt or BlackBerry Curve with the built in GPS receiver.
