DSL Commitment Plan
If you’re comfortable with computers and the Internet, the Commitment Plan with self-install option is the most economical. When you commit to keep your DSL service for one-year, you receive:

Should you require on-site assistance with your DSL installation or service, appropriate trip and hourly charges may apply.
DSL Protection Plan -- $5/month
A DSL modem provides you with a reliable, always-on, high-speed connection to
the Internet, the virtual world that has become an essential part of our
daily lives. Modems, however, can fail, cutting off your access until you
buy a new one and replace it.
With our DSL Protection Plan, modems are one thing you no longer have to
worry about.
For a one-year commitment and a low monthly fee, the DSL Protection Plan
provides you with an "in-store" warranty, guaranteeing replacement of your
modem should it fail. All you have to do is bring it to any one of our five
convenient store locations and exchange it.
For further protection and peace of mind, Yadkin Valley strongly recommends
you protect your modem with an approved surge protector. Surge protectors are available from any of our store locations.
The DSL Protection Plan does not cover lightning damage, nor does it cover
any labor charges associated with a service call to address a modem problem.
An Early Termination Fee will be applied to the account if the Protection
Plan is terminated before the one-year commitment has been fulfilled.
DSL customers who receive their Internet service through a residential
gateway are not eligible for the Protection Plan.
